Aidez cardigan :: Aidez Strickjacke

This is my new aidez cardigan, finished yesterday, just in time for the deadline of the Aidez KAL on Celtic Cast On's blog. It is made with Drops' new yarn called "Drops ♥ You". It is a super warm yarn made of wool, alpaca and linen. The cardigan knitted up really quickly. It took me four weeks to finish but there were a lot of days without knitting on it.  I knitted the whole thing seamless and connected the front extensions to the back with short rows. That worked really well and made it look professional :-)  

I am quite happy with the result, but there are two things, that I don't like. First, it grew longer than I anticipated and second, I made the shoulder section deeper, that means longer raglan lines because so many people on ravelry complained about the thight shoulders. That's why it is quite saggy in this part. Maybe I will unravel the raglan section and adjust it. More details on my ravelry page.

Das ist meine neue Aidez-Strickjacke, gestern fertig geworden genau zum Schlusspfiff vom KAL auf Celtic Cast On's blog. sie ist aus Drops' neuem Garn "Drops ♥ You" gestrickt. Es ist ein super warmes Garn aus Wolle, Alpaka und Leinen. Die Strickjacke strickte sich echt schnell, ich habe vier Wochen insgesamt gebraucht, aber auch nicht jeden Tag dran gestrickt. Ich habe die ganze Jacke nahtlos gestrickt, um mir das zusammennaehen und die dicken Naehte zu sparen. Die Frontverlaengerungen habe ich mit verkuerzten Reihen an das Rueckenteil gestrickt. Das hat echt gut funktioniert und sieht professionell aus :-)

 Ich bin mit der Jacke eigentlich ganz zufrieden, doch es gibt zwei Dinge, die mich noch stoeren. Erstens ist sie laenger geworden, als ich angestrebt hatte und zweitens habe ich die Schulterpartie tiefer gemacht, d. h. laengere Raglanlinien, weil so viele auf Ravelry kommentiert haben, dass die Schulterpartie zu eng ist. Naja, meine ist nun ein wenig zu "sackig". Vielleicht mache ich die Schulterpartie noch mal auf und korriegiere das. Mehr Infos findet ihr auf meiner Ravelry-Seite.
