Baby it's cold outside... No. 2

I had some leftover Eskimo yarn from drops in two different colours which was too less to knit anything with it. Until I got the idea to combine the two colurs and make striped socks. The result is great. They are really warm and it feels heavenly to walk with them, like walking on a sheep's skin. And the best: one sock was finished in less than two hours. That definitely is my personal speed record in sock knitting. These would definitely be good last-minute gifts.

Ich hatte Drops Eskimo-Garn in zwei verschiedenen Farben übrig, doch leider jeweils so wenig, dass es für gar nichts gereicht hätte. Bis ich die Idee hatte, die beiden Farben zu kombinieren und einfach gestreifte Socken zu stricken. Das Ergebnis ist toll. Die sind so warm und es fühlt sich himmlisch an, darin zu laufen, wie auf einem Schaffell. Und das beste: eine Socke war in weniger als zwei Stunden fertig. Das ist mein persönlicher Geschwindigkeitsrekord im Sockenstricken. Damit würden sie sich prima als Geschenk in letzter Minute eignen.
